Job Description
You will monitor your organization's networks and systems for security breaches or unauthorized activity using advanced detection tools. Your responsibilities include performing regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before they can be exploited. You will install and configure firewalls, data encryption programs, and other security measures to protect sensitive information. In the event of a security breach, you are the lead responder, responsible for containing the threat and conducting a thorough post-incident analysis.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on cybersecurity is highly preferred. You should hold industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or CISSP. Proficiency in using security tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, or Nessus is essential for daily operations. You must have a deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies to secure remote work environments effectively.
